What is the country flag test?
The country flag test is a quiz with 20 flags. Each round shows one flag and four country names. The test picks at random from the flags of 195 countries, so every round is different. The wrong answers come from the same part of the world, which keeps it challenging.
How does the flag test work?
Press start and pick the country that belongs to the flag. You see immediately whether you were right, and the correct answer lights up. After 20 flags you get your score and an overview of every flag with the right country, so you learn the ones you missed.
Flags that are easy to mix up
A few pairs trip up almost everyone:
- Ireland and Côte d’Ivoire: the same colours, mirrored
- Australia and New Zealand: count the stars and look at their colour
- Romania and Chad: nearly identical tricolours
- Indonesia and Poland: red and white, upside down
- Mali, Guinea and Senegal: green, yellow and red in a different order
Share your score
